School Lunch

Lunches are prepared in the main kitchen of the Middle School and delivered to the other school buildings.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at all schools. The times are listed below for each school.

North Park 7:30-8:10 a.m.

South Park 7:15-8:00 a.m.

Middle School 7:15-7:50 a.m.

High School 7:15-9:00 a.m.

Meal money is taken daily. Students may bring their lunch and breakfast money any day school is in session to the school they attend. We prefer they bring it to the lunchroom before school in the morning.

Meal money will be taken in the principal’s offices during registration. We would appreciate receiving payment for the first week’s meals at that time.

The “Meal Tracker” system is used in all dining locations. When students bring money, it is credited to their individual accounts.  PIN numbers are issued at the start of kindergarten and remain with the student through the 8th grade. At North Park, the students are given their card each AM and present it to the cashier at meal service. At South Park and Middle School, the students memorize and enter their own PIN number in. At High School, students use the number assigned to their ID Card. They must present their cards to the cashier at serving time.

Rules Concerning Accts.:

You may pay weekly or monthly. It is very important your child(ren) have money in their account(s). At all schools, students will be issued a reminder when their meal account becomes low. If you have any questions regarding the above procedures, please contact Rhonda Johnson, Food Service Director at 723-3377.

Free or Reduced Price Meal Information:

This information attached to the application explains eligibility and how to apply for meal benefits. If you have any questions or need help in filling out an application form, please contact Susan Proefrock, Business Manager, at 723-3355. You will be notified when the application is approved or denied.

***NOTE*** Even if you have participated in the free and reduced meal program in previous years, a new application is required each school year.

If you have received a letter from the Department of Social Services qualifying your children for free meals, you need not return an application for free and reduced price meals. Sign and return the DSS letter instead. In this case, you will not receive an eligibility notification letter from the school business office.
