  • Central Office on May 10th and 15th:

~ For grades 8th through 11th grade football players:  Spring Football Meeting, Wednesday, May 16th at 6:00 p.m. in the High School gym.  If you have questions, please call Coach Nowowiejski at 641-4645.  Thank you.

 

  • High School on May 8th:

~ Good evening.  Parents of any senior students if your child has received an institutional scholarship for college, please bring in documentation to Mr. Caldwell by Thursday, May 10th so they can complete the Awards Night Program. Thank you!

 

  • South Park for May 2nd and 3rd:

~ Students who are involved in the TRAK Program will we be having our end of year supper on Thursday, May 10th at the South Park Elementary School Lunchroom at 6 pm. I will need to know how many people will be attending so please RSVP to 569-1983.Thank You! For the month of May there will no longer be any Intersession Fridays at South Park.

 

  • High School and Middle School on May 1st and 2nd - 8 pm (Grades 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th:

~ Good evening.  There will be a  Boys' Basketball Parent Meeting for any boys interested in playing basketball next year this Thursday, May 3rd - 6 pm - in the High School Choir Room. This meeting is about the upcoming summer including open gym, workouts and team camp schedules. Please come to the front doors of the high school.

 

  • Central Office on April 29th and May 2nd:

~ "Attention parents of children ages 10-14 years of age.  The County Health Nurse is doing a Free Tdap vaccine clinic on May 3rd from 4pm to 6pm and May 4th from 8am to 1pm.  The vaccine is given only to Children 10-14 years of age!  To Make an appointment or if you have any questions please call 892-2523." 

 

  • High School on April 22nd:

~ Good evening.  Parents and students of BFHS, please be advised that the Belle Fourche High School Semester Test information for grades 9th - 12th will be on the website as of Wednesday, April 25th. Senior graduation information will also be posted on that day. Again, the BFHS semester test for grades 9th - 12th as well as senior graduation info can be viewed on the website as of Wednesday, April 25th. Thank you!

 

  • Central Office on April 19th and 23rd:

~ Good evening.  Attention all students grades 1st through 6th - Black Hills Youth Football League registration forms are due in by May 1st.  If you have questions or need a registration form, please call Robin Ewers at 605-641-4071.  Thank you.

~ Attention all Middle School Parents – the Booster Club is in need of concession workers for the Varsity Track Meets on Saturday, April 14th and Tuesday, April 24th.   • Middle School April 2nd:

  • Central Office on March 18th and and March 20th:

  • Middle School for March 7th:

·           ~ “Due to the funeral being scheduled for this Friday, we are postponing the 8th grade’s orientation tour of the high school by one week – to Friday, March 16 at 9 am at the high school gym.  Details will follow by mail.” 

 

  • Activities Office for March 6th & 7th:

·           ~ Good evening.  The Booster Club is asking for your assistance for the Cameron Carlson funeral this Friday. Cameron a 2011 BFHS graduate was a wrestler and football player.   • Central Office March 5th 11:00 am and 4:30 pm:

~ Per Superintendent, Mr. Willard - In lieu of the recent tragedy involving a former student, Cameron Carlson, the Belle Fourche School District will be offering grief counseling for current students as well as recent graduates. This will take place throughout the day on Monday, March 5th and Tuesday, March 6th in the high school student center. In addition, grief counseling will be made available on Monday and Tuesday evening at St. James' Lutheran Church beginning at 6:00 pm.

 

  • Activities Office for March 5th:

·           ~ Good afternoon.  The Winter Athletic Awards Banquet for Monday, March 5th at the Belle Fourche Community Hall has been postponed to Monday, March 12th at 7:00 pm. Thank you!

 

  • Middle School March 4th - 7:15 pm:

  • North Park for March 1st:

~ Students at NP elementary dismiss early today for parent conferences. Students may be picked up by 12:15 pm. Buses will not run at NP today, so please make arrangements for your child to be picked up by 12:15 pm today, March 1st.  Parent conferences begin at 1:00 pm.  Thank You.

 

  • Central Office Feb. 28th and 29th:

~ There will be a 2-hour late start for all schools on Tuesday, Feb. 28th and Wednesday, Feb. 29th. Thank you.

 

  • Activities Office for February 29th and March 4th:

  • Middle School - January 30th:

~ Middle School parents - reminder this Wednesday, Feb. 1st there is an early release for our students.

 

  • North Park Elementary - January 24th:

~ "This is a reminder from North Park Kindergarten. Tomorrow is "Pajama Day" at North Park School. Students may wear their pajamas and slippers in the classroom. They will still go outside for recess and need to bring snow pants and boots. Again, tomorrow - Wednesday, Jan 25- is Pajama Day at North Park School".

 

  • Middle School - January 5th:

~ This is the Belle Fourche Middle School - report cards have been sent home for all middle school students. Thank You!

 

  • North Park Elementary - December 20th:

~ "This is a message from North Park Elementary. There are no Kindergarten classes at North Park tomorrow, December 21. The Kindergarten Christmas Concert will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 12/21 at 11:00 a.m.  Please bring your child to the Rec Center by 10:45 am for lineup with their teacher. The concert will last approximately 30 minutes. Again, the Kindergarten Christmas Concert is tomorrow, 12/21 at 11:00 a.m.  Thank you."

 

  • Middle and High School - November 13th; 16th; 20th 26th:

~ Your attention please –Belle Fourche School District is offering a Sports Heart Screening on Monday, November 28th at the High School.

What is an Athletic Heart Screening? It is a specific group of tests that help aid in the detection of sudden cardiac death in active young people. The screening process will include an EKG, limited echocardiogram, blood pressure check, health history and a Board Certified Cardiologist review. Cost is $79...Please see Brooks in the office or call 723—3359 to make your appointment. Three forms are required to be filled out with a parent {if you are under the age of 18} and must be completed before we can do the screening. The forms can be found on the activities website homepage. The screening process will take 10-15 minutes and you will receive the results in 3 weeks.

 

  • North Park Elementary - November 10th:

~ " Kindergarten students will perform one song at the MS Veteran's Day program tomorrow, November 11. We will leave NP by bus at 1:30 pm and return to NP by 2:45 pm. Please dress your child in red, white, or blue for their performance.  Students will also perform this song during their Christmas concert on December 21. Again, please dress your child in red, white, or blue in honor of Veteran's Day tomorrow."

 

  • South Park Elementary - Attn 2nd Graders - October 18th:

~ Good evening. A reminder to all South Park 2nd graders regarding your Field Trip on Wednesday, October, 19th to the Game Fish and Parks Outdoor Campus in Rapid City - please be at school on time as the bus will leave at 8:05 a.m. sharp.

 

  • South Park Elementary - 1st, 3rd & 4th Grades - October 18th:

~ Good evening. South Park Picture Day for grades 1st, 3rd and 4th is on Wednesday, October 19th.

 

  • District-wide announcement on October 17th and October 24th:

~ Good evening.  A free T-dap vaccination clinic for children 10 through 14 years old will be available on:  Wednesday, October 26th and Thursday, October 27th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Belle Fourche Area Community Center.  Flu vaccine will be available at the during the same time.  Please bring in your child’s immunization record when you come in.  Please call the Butte County Health Nurse at 892-2523 if you have questions.    Thanks and have a nice evening.

 

  • Activities Office - October 16th

~ Good evening - the Competitive Dancers will have their parent's night on Monday, October 17th at the Belle Fourche Dance Invitation. Parents, please be at the high school gym at 5:30 pm; admission is free for you.

 

  • North and South Park Elementary - September 19th

~ Good evening. If your child took part in the PTO Fundraising, they need to bring their orders and payment to school with them on Tuesday, September 20th. Thank you!

 

  • Central Office District Wide - September 6th

~ Good evening.  There will be an informational meeting concerning the School District’s tax levy opt out request held on Wednesday, September 7th at 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Middle School Gym.  The meeting was previously scheduled for the Middle School lunchroom.  The meeting will now be held in the Middle School Gym.  Thank you and hope to see you there.

 

  • District Wide - August 23rd

~ Good evening.  Signups for the Belle Fourche Area Youth Football for 3rd and 4th grade flag and 5th and 6th grade tackle will be held on Thursday, August 25th from 5 to 7 pm at the Belle Fourche Area Community Center.  If you have questions, please call Wade at (605) 641-4802.  Thank you.

 

  • BFHS Activities - August 19th and 23rd

~ The Belle Fourche Bronc Booster Picnic will be Thursday, August 25th at the High School Football Field starting at 6:00 pm. If you have an athlete in the following grades, please bring the corresponding item.

Freshman - Salads; Juniors - Sides; Sophomores & Seniors - Deserts

Please have the item to the football field concession stand between 5:15 - 5:45 pm in order for the Booster Club to get the set-up complete. Any questions, please call 723-3359. Thank you!

 

  • North Park Elementary - August 18th

~ For parents of North Park Kindergartners, final registration is underway at the South Park office. If you have not yet finalized your kindergartners registration, please stop by South Park school tomorrow, Friday 8/19 or Monday 8/22 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Also, please remember we are a Peanut-Free school. Check labels on any snacks or lunch items you will be sending to school. We look forward to seeing you soon.

 

  • Central Office - August 12th and 14th

~Good Evening!! This message is for all Belle Fourche School District employees - its that time of the year again...  Back to School In-service is scheduled for Thursday, August 18 at 8:00 am at the Belle Fourche Area Community Center.  Coffee, rolls and juice will be available starting at 7:30 a.m.  An agenda is available on our District’s website.  Message for Food Service employees - a mandatory in-service at Middle School Lunchroom will follow the all staff in-service.  If you have any questions, please call us at 723-3355.  Thanks and welcome back!!

 

  • Middle School - August 8th

~ This is the Belle Fourche Middle School with a reminder about our registration. All student must register either August 10 between 7:30 am & 6:00 pm or August 11 between 7:30 am & 4:00 pm. Thank You!

 

  • North and South Park Elementary Schools - August 8th, 10th and 15th - 7:00 pm

~ Please be advised that there is a change in the yellow Newsletter that went out last week. There will   not  be classes held Monday, August 22nd in the morning.  In the afternoon from 12:00 (noon) to 3:00 pm, there will be an Open House at North Park and South Park for the parents and students to meet the teacher, ask questions and bring their school supplies.

~ Registration for both North and South Park will be held at the South Park Office on Wednesday, August 17th and Thursday, August 18th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. We will take care of paperwork and verify that the name, address, phone number and emergency contacts are correct. Hot Lunch may be paid for at this time. If neither of these days work for you, you may register on Monday, August 22nd in the afternoon.
