Belle Fourche Elementary

Belle Fourche Elementary is hiring paraprofessionals in both general education and special education departments. Duties include: assisting teachers in the classroom, leading students working in small groups, helping students stay on task, and lunchroom and playground monitoring. We are excited for the 2022-2023 school year to begin! To ensure that we have the most up to date information, we need all returning students to register. August 17th from 12:30-3:00: Parents of ALL Kindergarten-4th grade students: Kindergarten open house will take place at North Park Elementary. Grades 1-4 will have their open house at South Park. This will be a great opportunity for you to bring your supplies, meet your teachers, and see our schools! 1st Day of school for students grades K-4: We will have a staggered start for elementary students ONLY. Elementary students will be assigned to either a Broncs 1 or a Broncs 2 group. You will be notified prior to the start of school which group your student is assigned to. 1st day for students in Broncs 1: August 18, 2022 (will not attend on August 19) 1st day for students in Broncs 2: August 19, 2022 (will not attend on August 18)

The 4th grade Talent Show will be on Wednesday, May 11th at 2pm in the South Park Elementary Gym. Parents, guardians, and loved ones are invited to attend! 4th grade students are allowed to check out after the talent show is done. However, the student and parent/guardian MUST check out with their teacher first. We hope to see you there!

To celebrate National Physical Education Week, South Park will be hosting a dance party before school on the playground. Remember to wear shoes that will allow you to have fun and dance. It is also teacher appreciation week! Kids should dress like teachers and teachers are going to dress like kids!

May 1-7 is National Physical Education and Sports Week. Listed below are some special events going on at South Park for the week. Our kickoff for the week will be on Tuesday May 3rd. You and I have just two copies of Chromosome 21. People with Down syndrome have 3 copies. They look like socks, right? This is where the idea of Rock your Socks for World Down Syndrome Day was born from... simple! On March 21st, World Down Syndrome Day, we celebrate and raise awareness by wearing our brightest, loudest socks.
