1st graders recently let go of their butterflies! Each class got to experience a butterfly unit this Spring. They learn all about the life cycle and get to see it happen right in front of their eyes!
Thanks to Purple Pride's support this year, 1st graders went on field trip to Bear Country! They got a chance to see every single animal that was there. It was an awesome experience and we all had a blast!
Elementary students got the chance to see the BF seniors, Class of 2025, walk their halls! They were excited to see familiar faces! We are grateful for their time and proud of their many accomplishments here in Belle Fourche!
Belle Fourche School District Invites Community Input at Upcoming Master Planning Events.
The Belle Fourche School District’s Master Planning Committee is excited to host two upcoming public meetings aimed at continuing the important work of shaping the future of our schools—with your voice at the center.
Community members are invited to join the conversation and contribute their ideas as we advance our long-term planning efforts. These events will offer insight into the progress made so far, including highlights from our recent community survey. Attendees will also participate in interactive activities designed to help shape a shared vision for the future of education in Belle Fourche.

1st graders enjoyed visiting a local store in their community to see the baby chicks and ducks to kick off learning about the life cycle of animals! We are so thankful to Runnings for preparing all they do for us; our students enjoyed it!

Reminder that this Friday, April 4th, is a regular day of school for 1st through 12th graders. No school for current Kindergarten students due to screening. No after school programs on Friday. The High School track meet scheduled at Douglas High School on Friday, April 4 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 8. This will be a Varsity meet only. Thank you!

Spring Middle School Choir - updated date!
Please join us in support our Middle School Choir students on Monday, March 31 at 6:30 PM at the Belle Fourche Rec Center.
Due to weather conditions, we are having an early release today, March 18th, for the following times, Buses will run at this time also. North Park 1:00 pm, South Park 1:15 pm, Middle School 1:30 pm and High School at 1:40 pm. Middle School spring concert is postponed until March 25th.
First grade students spent time practicing for their student-led conferences this week! We are appreciative for the time families make to attend Spring conferences so they can see their kiddos shine!
