Here at Belle Fourche School District, we had A LOT of Bronc pride and anticipation ready to go last week as our Homecoming game approached, and for the whole week leading up to Homecoming, Belle Fourche School District proudly shared their Bronc team spirit in every building!
South Park and North Park Elementary celebrated through dress up days for Never Forget 9/11 Monday, Dress Your Best Tuesday, Workout Wednesday, Class Color Day, and ending off with a Broncs-themed Day for Friday. Students got to enjoy making crafts to decorate their school buildings with Broncs spirit throughout the week, along with celebrating with family at the end of the short Friday through a family lunch picnic – but not before first enjoying a mini parade & Pep Rally visit from some of our amazing High School Broncs!
Belle Fourche Middle School & High School also celebrated their Bronc pride through dress up days, with Monday’s USA Day, Tuesday’s Team Jersey Day, Wednesday’s Dress for Success Day, Thursday’s Hawaiian Day, and of course, Friday’s Broncs White & Purple Day!
Belle Fourche Middle School even went the extra mile of bringing in that strong Bronc team spirit through participating in their own Broncs Olympics! Students of all grades participated in 3 legged races, water relays, shovel relays, obstacle courses, and frisbee tosses throughout the entire Friday morning last week.
These celebrations to show our Bronc pride last week did not end there either. Students gathered to decorate their schools, lockers, sidewalks, and classrooms in white and purple to spread the cheer. Even our officers joined in on our Bronc spirit through the decorating of their vehicles!
After a well-deserved early release for our hard-working Broncs on Friday, High School and Middle School students gathered together to join in our Homecoming Parade on Friday at 2:30 to thoroughly build up the team spirit throughout the Belle Fourche community through vibrantly decorated floats, exciting marching band music, and so much more to show just what makes us proud to be Broncs!
While our Friday football game turned out a bit unexpected, our Bronc pride was strong and larger than life, and we celebrated everyone’s coming together and hard work and fierce belief in a bright future full of more Bronc celebrations to come through a lively Homecoming Dance!
We thank all the students, teachers, families, committees, and members of the Belle Fourche community for continuing to help spread our love, joy and pride in being one big and strong Bronc family! As the school year slowly builds up to another amazing, inspiring year, let’s continue to keep up the Bronc spirit!
