Some of Ms. O'Hara's 6th graders who organized a food drive, had the opportunity to deliver what they collected and learn more about the food pantry.




In preparation for Veterans Day, the 7th graders shared their memorized patriotic poetry and speeches to the fourth grade classes on Thursday. Thank you 4th graders for being an excellent audience!!






On Wednesday, November 5th, the students and staff at Belle Fourche Middle School prepared for Veterans Day with visits from our favorite honored guests - our veterans!






Many of the 8th grade students were given a wonderful opportunity to learn about our flag and even retire flags with members of the VFW on Wednesday. Students were able to watch their classmates retire a flag and retire one themselves. Special thank you to the amazing people at the Belle Fourche VFW for allowing these students this opportunity to learn and grow!

Lights On After School, a special family night event, will be held at the Belle Fourche High School from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, October 27th.
All Belle Fouche School District students and families are invited for an activity night featuring, drones, a digital scavenger hunt, Halloween crafts, and a book signing by author Sean Covel.
Pizza will be provided.
The family night is free for families to attend courtesy of the 21st Century Belle Fourche After-School programs.

Next week, October 27-30, 2025, Belle Fourche Middle School will be participating in Red Ribbon Week activities! Each day of the week has a special theme with a dress-up option to support healthy lifestyle decisions! Plus we are hosting a blood drive for parents and community members to participate in!


Tomorrow, Wednesday October 22 is Unity Day!! This is a day when we can come together to send a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. The call to action is simple: wear and share the color orange. This vibrant statement becomes a conversation starter, showing support for students who have been bullied and for bullying prevention.

It's time for MAGIC - the BFMS Play. This comedic mystery, set in the 1980's, tells the story of a very special Appalacian town that is having troubles you would never expect in such a perfect place! This show is full of fun & surprises, so come support our young thespians at the performances March 14th & 15th at 7 PM in the BF Rec Center Theater.

6th graders, in Bronc time, doing a post-mortem project (thanks 8th grade for the idea!) analyzing characters from two dystopian short stories. Be sure to check out the final products and the stories in the hallway next week during parent-teacher conferences!
